The laser then travels in a linear motion relative to the material producing a small kerf. Because of the precision of the cutting process, you will find that there is very little waste left over when cutting your materials. Since the slag created from cutting melts away from the tungsten carbide you can wash it away with water, which will not harm your material. This allows the cutting process to be efficient.
